28 ‘Science & Technology’ and 7 ‘Innovation’ projects funded under the ERA.Net RUS Plus Call 2017

In April 2018, the funding organisations of the ERA.Net RUS Plus Call 2017 selected 7 ‘Innovation’ projects for funding with a financial volume of EUR 3 million. With the 28 projects for 'Science & Technology' selected in November 2017, in total 35 joint research projects will be carried out between 2018 and 2021 with a total funding volume of EUR 14 million.
The successful projects were selected among more than 250 project proposals from the fields ‘Nanotechnologies’, ‘Environment & Climate Change’, ‘Health’, ‘Social Sciences & Humanities’, ‘Robotics’ and a broad spectrum of applied research topics in material science/engineering, optical technologies, health research, environmental technologies and ICT.

With this huge response, the largest geographical ERA.NET and flagship initiative in the EU-Russia science cooperation continues its success story of Joint Calls under the ERA.Net RUS and ERA.Net RUS Plus flag.
